Jean-François Prost
Jean-Francois Prost
Artist Jean-François Prost was the recent Canadian artist in residence from Sept 2007 to March 2008. During his residency he developed the ongoing project Adaptive Actions with an open call for collaborative inclusion in a website and publication.

Influenced by modern urban experiences and cultures Jean-François creates artworks that influence our perception of and relation to the city. Jean-François shows how simple ideas and images can influence the collective imagination to promote feelings of identity and a sense of cultural belonging. Through his ongoing 'Adaptive Actions' project he lends artistic voice to marginal causes and alternative urban lifestyles to address site-specific issues.
