This course covers the basics of Adobe’s leading application for vector artwork, used in the creation of scalable, resolution independent artwork and graphics; suitable for beginners or for those who wish to extend their Adobe skills.

• Illustrator Environment and Navigation
• Creating Vectors: Bezier Paths, Nodes, Strokes and Fills
• Working with Vectors: Transformations, Shape Blends and Filters
  
• Working with Text: Fonts, Formatting and Converting to Paths
• Blending Techniques: Compound Paths, Fills and Groups

Each student has their own workstation for the practical parts of the course and can discuss any specific areas of interest they may have towards the end of the day with the tutor.
