Date: TBC This advanced course to Apple's leading non-linear editing package is ideal for those that are comfortable using Final Cut Pro (user interface, setting up projects / scratch disks etc) and have completed our own Final Cut Pro Induction and Intermediate courses (or similar), and would like to take their editing skills even further.The course offers a detailed exploration of split edits, trimming and other editing tools (Slip / Slide / Ripple / Roll) used to refine an edit and make a good cut. Audio levels and audio editing inside FCP and Soundtrack Pro will also be covered in detail as will Track targeting, track auto selection, Filters and Effects, Motion Paths, Keyframes and Match framing. Finally, students will be given the chance to look at the monitoring process using Scopes, PPM’s and broadcast standard ‘legal’ levels. Each student has their own workstation for the practical parts of the course and can discuss any specific areas of interest they may have towards the end of the day with the tutor.
