Case Study: Michael Vidal

Michael undertook a 10 week Producer course with Urban Dynamik that started January 2009. Michael was Not in Employment Education or Training, had never left the UK and was unsure of what his future direction in life was. He had made one short video a few years ago and was attracted by the opportunity to make something of his own. Upon finishing the 10 week course, Michael’s had worked on 3 films, developing sound, working video cameras and editing a 3 minute documentary. He undertook a Silver Arts Award and developed his media skill levels far beyond his expectations. Since finishing the Producer course Michael secured a position as an extra in George Lucas’ new film and travelled to Prague for 4 weeks of filming. Michael has expressed a disire to go to Film School and will be coming back to do work experience at Future TV to develop his portfolio.
