Instructors Paula Roush, Peter Chauncy, Antonios Galanopoulous and Chun Lee. This four day workshop taught a group of 15 people about electronics, art, technology, computer programming and more through study of RFID technology.

Throughout the course, participants experimented with the technology hands-on and imagined what they could do with it in art, industry and play. By demystifying a technology they increasingly interact with every day, this course encouraged a more democractic approach to the development of cutting edge technologies, while giving students specialized training in the next wave of commercial industry tracking.

At the end of the course, students were able to demo simple RFID applications by using the open source programming environment Pure Data, and developed several scenarios for its implementation in everyday life.
