Established in 1968, SPACE has made a great contribution to the success of London’s creative industry and its vitality as a creative capital. SPACE is London’s original cultural regeneration agency and leading studio provider for visual artists.

We have supported the development of a role call of British artists throughout our history. We have promoted the arts, widened participation and enriched the cultural life of East London for over 40 years.

We manage 18 studio sites across London and support over 600 visual artists and makers.

14, 000 people each year participate in the arts through our exhibitions, training, media projects and community collaborations with local groups
