SPACE

SPACE runs a successful ongoing internship scheme . Previous interns have gone on to employment with the TATE, London galleries, national arts organisations and permanent positions at SPACE. We provide hands on experience in the arts and the opportunity to gain valuable  experience that prepares you for the challenges involved within the arts sector. Internships focus on specific projects tailored to the intern's experience and academic qualifications. It is aimed at people with experience in the arts and pro-active team players. If you think you can commit to at least two days per week, we would like to hear from you.

SPACE also often requires volunteers to help supervise and run events such as exhibition openings, community festivals, symposiums, screenings and workshops; and also to help with the marketing and distribution of SPACE events in Hackney and East London. Working with SPACE offers volunteers the chance to contribute to activities that produce real impact for the community and help enable SPACE to maximise its resources allowing it to continue delivering high quality projects to its audiences.
