How do I get to see a studio advertised on the website? |
|
First you need to contact our reception on 020 8525 4330.
If the studio site has an artist keyholder on site you will be given their contact details and can make an appointment with them to view the studio. Artist keyholders are artists with a studio at the site who have offered to provide this service. They are not employees of SPACE, they do not have additional information about the studio, they are not able to allocate the studio and are not at the site 24/7. It is very important to keep any appointment made with a keyholder and not prevent the keyholder from getting on with their own studio work by turning up late, or interrupt them at an inappropriate time without an appointment.
For other sites where there is no keyholder SPACE staff organise a ‘viewing day’ and anyone wishing to view the studio will be invited to attend.
Allocation of studios is not made immediately. Viewing is left open for at least two or three weeks to ensure as many people as want to have been able to view the studio and all appointments accommodated. At the end of that time the studio will be allocated.
