..."last time the Radio Show happened for an extended period of time it was largely focused around the idea of talk radio, from Shock Jocks to Radio 4. Two of the staples I kept in mind were Chris from Northern Exposure and Mister Señor Love Daddy from Do The Right Thing. A solitary figure locked in a booth.
This time around my jumping off point is the radio play. I decided that the simplest way to make this apparent was by changing the architecture of the radio booth. This means that there will be a live sound stage alongside the booth, meaning that whatever takes place on the stage will be broadcast over our internet radio channel.
I am inviting artists, gallerists, comedians, musicians, lecturers, playwrights, djs among others to inhabit the stage and do whatever they like."
The show will run five days a week for the best part of seven weeks, so there is plenty of airtime to fill. If you have a proposal send it to radioshowlondon@gmail.com
